Pre Sending Notifications Overview

Brightsquid Secure-Mail subscribers may opt to display a message to individuals who address a message to them or their organization.  These "Pre Sending Notifications" may vary depending on who is sending the message (Patients vs Medical Providers).

Note that these messages will be displayed to a sender who addresses a message to you BEFORE they click the SEND button.

Subscribers may customize their Pre Sending Notification to display any message.  Some examples can be seen here.  Notifications can be set to be displayed both for the personal "My Inbox" level and or for the Clinic's Shared Inbox.

 

 

Here is how to configure your notifications

Configuring a Pre Sending notification for My Inbox

  1. Log into your Brightsquid account and navigate to the "Settings page" (on the left side tool bar).
  2. At the bottom of the "Personal Details" tab you will see the "Sender Notifications."
  3. Type your notification message(s) into either or both of the boxes presented.  Each sending group will only see the message relevant to their account type (Patients only see patient messages and Professionals only see professional messages).
  4. Check the box next to the messages you want to enable.
  5. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

The message you have entered will be displayed to users in two places

  • On the compose page after the message is addressed to you

  • On your contact page in the Brightsquid Professional Directory

  1. Log into your Brightsquid account and navigate to the "Settings page" (on the left side tool bar).
  2. At the bottom of the "Clinic Details" tab you will see the "Sender Notifications."
  3. Type your notification message(s) into either or both of the boxes presented.  Each sending group will only see the message relevant to their account type (Patients only see patient messages and Professionals only see professional messages).
  4. Check the box next to the messages you want to enable.
  5. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

The message you have entered will be displayed to users in two places

  • On the compose page after the message is addressed to clinic's Shared Inbox

  • On your clinic's contact page in the Brightsquid Professional Directory

 

 

Key Points to Remember

  • Your selected message(s) will only be displayed to those users who have addressed a message to the appropriate inbox.  That is; if a patient addresses a message to your clinic's Shared Inbox, they will be shown the message configured in "Clinic Settings."  However if the message is addressed to your private "My Inbox" they will be shown the message configured in "Personal Details."
  • End users can configure their own Pre Sending Notifications, or the clinic Administrator can do it for them in the "Clinic Members" page.
  • Only Administrators can configure the Shared Inbox Pre Sending Notifications
