Accessing Training in your Brightsquid Account

Brightsquid Secure Communications Corp. provides users with online training courses designed to improve clinic Privacy Compliance and staff competency.

 

Note that training courses are available to all our Professional users (Clinicians and Staff Members), Patient users do not have access to this section in their Brightsquid account.

 

To access the courses:

 

Log into your Brightsquid account at https://health.brightsquid.com

 

Select the "Applications" link on the left side tool bar as below.  If the toolbar is hidden click the menu button (≡) at the top left corner of your screen.

From the displayed menu, switch to the Training application

Here you can select from the courses available to you.  Your course availability will vary depending on your clinic's subscription type.

Select your course (by clicking on it) to view a brief summary of the course content and when you are ready, click on the Enroll button to start the course. 

 

Program Notes:

  • Some training courses will require use of Credits to enroll, if sufficient credits are not available in your clinic speak to your clinic's Brightsquid Administrator.
  • Free courses do not require Credits.
  • Once  you start a course, your progress will be saved module by module.  Assuming your course has more than one module you can leave either by clicking Exit Course or by closing your browser.  When you return you can resume your course at the same module.  If you leave in the middle of a module your progress may not be saved and might have to repeat part of a module.
  • At the end of most courses you will be issued a Certificate with your name on it.  Please ensure that the name on your Brightsquid account is the name you want on your certificate, especially if you plan on submitting the certificate to your professional association for Continuing Education credits or similar.
      • To check your account details navigate to Settings > Personal Profile from the Brightsquid home page
  • Some courses have Audio Visual components.  Ensure your speakers or headphones are turned on and turned up.
