Your healthcare provider may require you to reply to a Secure-Mail message with information they requested or an intake form in the message body. Or you may have a question or query related to the secure message sent to you that additional feedback is needed from your healthcare provider. Here are the steps to sending a Secure-Mail message ‘Reply’ to your healthcare provider:
- Click or tap the link to log into your Secure-Mail account via https://health.brightsquid.com/login
- Click or tap to open the Secure-Mail message that you are needing to send a ‘Reply:
At the top right of the Secure-Mail message you have the 'Reply, Reply All and Forward' options. You can click or tap the 'Reply' at this point to respond to the message. Alternatively, if you have scrolled to the bottom of the message, in some instances, click or tap on ‘Reply’ to compose a new secure message:
- The reply ‘Compose’ screen is then displayed. There is no need to address the message as your healthcare provider contact is inserted into the ‘To/Recipient’ field. Your Secure-Mail subject is also filled in and cannot be edited:
- In the message body there is a space between the character formatting options and the date/time stamp of the message. Click or tap in the space to begin typing your response:
Some healthcare providers send their intake form in the message body. You will need to scroll to each section of the message to enter your response.
- If you need to attach photo(s) or document(s) to your Secure-Mail message before it is sent, please click or tap the ‘Attach Files’ button from your device.

- Check the box about not using Secure-Mail for emergency health support:
- Click or tap the blue ‘Send’ button to send your reply.
