How can I find my doctor in Secure-Mail?

You can find your doctor in Secure-Mail provided they are registered Secure-Mail users. There are two ways to do this:

 

Method 1:

Step 1: Login to your Secure-Mail account via https://health.brightsquid.com/login

Step 2: Click on the green ‘Compose’ button to the top right if on desktop/laptop/mac computer:

If on a mobile/tablet device please tap/touch the green circle with a pencil to the bottom right:

Step 3: In the ‘To’ field type the name of the clinician OR clinic name OR their email address.

If it was in your recent searches the clinician name will come up and you can click/tap/touch on it to populate it in the ‘To’ field. If not, you will be asked to permit the system to  ‘Continue’ searching in the directory. Once you see the clinician name, you can click/tap/touch on it and it will auto-populate the ‘To’ field.

Step 4: Continue drafting the message and review it once before you click on Send.

 

Method 2:

Step 1: Login to your Secure-Mail account as in 'Step 1' of 'Method 1'.

Step 2: Click on ‘Professional Directory’ in the left vertical navigation panel if on desktop/laptop/mac computer:

If on mobile/tablet please tap on the three bars to the top left:

Whan the navigation panel displays please tap/touch ‘Professional Directory’.

Step 3: in the ‘Global Search’ field type the name of the clinician OR clinic name OR their email address.

You can refine the search further by city, state and specialty to narrow the search results.

Step 4: Once you click/tap/touch on the contact/clinic name, there will be an option for you to send a ‘Secure-Mail’ message:
